How does your website score?

Test your site’s speed, SEO, accessibility and mobile basics with Google Lighthouse, the same test behind Google’s own PageSpeed tools. It takes about 30 seconds.

Four scores.
One honest picture.

Every site we build has to score 95 or more on these before it launches. Here is what each one means for your customers.

  • Performance

How fast the page loads and becomes usable on a mid-range phone over a mobile connection.

  • Accessibility

Whether everyone can read and use it: contrast, labels, headings and keyboard access.

  • Best practices

Security and modern web standards, such as HTTPS and up-to-date code.

  • SEO

Whether search engines can find, read and understand the page.

About the check.

Is the website check really free?

Yes. It runs Google’s own Lighthouse test through PageSpeed Insights. There’s no sign-up; leave your email only if you’d like the report and our advice sent to you.

Will a high score get me to the top of Google?

Not on its own. Speed and technical quality help, but rankings also depend on your content, your Google Business Profile, reviews and links from other sites. A low score can hold a good business back, though.

Why is my mobile score lower than desktop?

The test simulates a mid-range phone on a slower mobile connection, the way many of your customers actually browse. It’s a tougher test on purpose, and the one Google cares about most.

My score is low. What should I do?

Start with the top issues the check lists. If you’d rather not do it yourself, send us the report: we’ll tell you what’s worth fixing, whether a rebuild makes more sense, and give you a fixed quote.
