Sydney /For founders
App and MVP development for founders with an idea.
No technical co-founder? You don’t need one to start. Cthroo designs and builds web apps, SaaS products and marketplaces in Sydney, from the first sketch to real users. We’ve launched seven products of our own, so we build yours the way an owner would.

Build the first version
Accounts, payments, the core feature, an admin panel and emails. Built on a stack that grows with you.
You get: a live product on your own accounts
-
04
Launch and grow
A launch site, analytics and SEO, then improvements driven by what users actually do.
You get: a product, and a partner who stays
04 /Your options
Four ways to build version one.
- Find a technical co-founder
- Can take months to find, and costs a large share of your company.
- Offshore development shop
- Cheaper hourly rates, but time zones, hand-offs and specs that get built to the letter.
- No-code tools
- Fast for a prototype, but limits, platform fees and lock-in arrive as soon as you grow.
- Cthroo
- A small senior team in Sydney that has launched its own products. You own the code from day one.
Pricing
Let’s talk.
Every product is different, so the price is worked out with you. The idea session is free, and you’ll have a fixed quote for the first version in writing before anything is built.

05 /Questions
What founders ask first.
Do I need a technical co-founder to build my startup?
No. Many founders start with a development partner to build and launch the first version, then hire or bring on a technical co-founder once the idea has traction. We hand over clean code and documentation either way.
How long does it take to build an MVP?
It depends on what version one must do. We scope it with you in the free idea session, keep the first version as small as it can be while still being useful, and you get a timeline in writing with the quote.
How much does it cost to build an app in Sydney?
Every product is different, so pricing is worked out with you. The idea session is free, and you get a fixed quote for the first version in writing before anything is built.
Who owns the code and the intellectual property?
You do. The code, accounts, domains and data are set up in your name and handed over in writing at launch.
Can you work from my existing designs, prototype or code?
Yes. We can start from designs, a no-code prototype or an existing codebase, after a quick review of what’s worth keeping.
